CONTACT US IF YOU WANT TO ORGANIZE A PALS PROVIDER COURSE

The PALS Provider course, held over two days, is intended for dentists who do oral/IV sedation or general anesthesia as part of their dental practice and have not previously taken PALS or feel they could benefit from a two day course instead of the one day refresher. Focus is placed on early recognition and effective response to serious pediatric respiratory, shock, and primary cardiac emergencies. The PALS course utilizes case-based sessions, simulations, video presentations, didactic discussions and hands on practice to help each student achieve success in the course and in practice. Learn PALS with other dentists in a program customised for your work environment. This course is approved by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and the American Heart Association.

The course is open to dentists, CDAs, RDAs and hygienists. If the student is unsuccessful on the written exam or chooses not to write the exam they will receive a certificate of attendance and be eligible for 16 CE credits.

The course is delivered at your location. Travel costs are added to the group tuition rate.

PALS certification must be renewed every two years

The PALS Recertification course, held over one day, is intended for dentists who do oral/IV sedation or general anesthesia as part of their dental practice and have previously taken a HSFC PALS course within the last two years. Focus is placed on early recognition and effective response to serious pediatric respiratory, shock, and primary cardiac emergencies. The PALS course utilizes case-based sessions, simulations, video presentations, didactic discussions and hands on practice to help each student achieve success in the course and in practice. Learn PALS with other dentists in a program customised for your work environment. This course is approved by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and the American Heart Association.
