Sea to Sky DentalEd Inc. (“DentalEd”, “we”, “us”) provides sedation training for the dental profession in Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through dentaled.com and our courses, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act, and Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

What we collect
- Course registration and orders: name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, practice or employer, professional licence or registration details if we ask for them, and what you purchase.
- Contact and mailing-list forms: the details you type into the form.
- Payments: card payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- Website use (only if you accept analytics cookies): pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived at the site.
Why we use it
- To register you for courses, take payment, ship equipment and send receipts and course information.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To send newsletters and course announcements if you have asked to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it, if you accept analytics cookies.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary cookies keep the site working (for example your cart and checkout) and are always on. Analytics and marketing tools are off by default and only run if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the site footer. Withdrawing consent stops these tools from loading on later pages.

Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate: Stripe (payments), Mailchimp (email), QuickBooks Online (accounting), ShipStation and Canada Post (shipping), our website host and security and backup services, and Google and Automattic (analytics, only if you consent). We do not sell personal information.
Storage outside your province or Canada
Some of these providers store or process information outside Quebec and outside Canada, including in the United States. We use providers that apply contractual and technical safeguards, and we share only what is needed for the service.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements (for example, financial records for the period required by tax law). When it is no longer needed we destroy it or anonymize it.
Your rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to stop using it for a purpose, or to withdraw your consent. Quebec residents may also ask that we stop disseminating information about them or de-index it, and may request their information in a structured, commonly used technological format. Write to info@dentaled.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
Security incidents
We protect information with access controls, encryption in transit and regular security scans. If an incident presents a risk of serious harm to you, we will notify you and the relevant privacy authority as the law requires.
